Having learned
the Galician traditional bagpipe and percussion at "Monte medela"
society (Cesuras) and the pipe band "Os Rexumeiros" (A Coruña),
he was trained in Latin drums and percussion (Carlos Gándara
and Miguel Cabana), harmony, composition and music arrangement
at the Local School of Jazz in A Coruña.
As a percussionist, he has performed with the violinist Antón
Seijo (Milladoiro), the piper Susana Seivane, the group
Os Key and, nowadays, he is a part of the prestigious traditional
quartet Luvas Verdes, where he has been awarded most important
prizes of Galician root music. |

He has been a composer for some bands, such
as Susana Seivane. Besides, he was a traditional percussion
teacher for several societies and groups.
Since 2002, he has been a part , as a percussionist, of the NOVA
GALEGA DE DANZA Company.
